Rajasthan is known as The Land of Great Kingdoms. It is also one of the most popular state for travel destination. The state is located on the extreme north side of the country. The state contains one of the widest and forbidding desert which is Thar Desert, also known as The Great Indian Desert. The history of the state is very vast, which is the home of magnificent forts, splendid palaces along with other Rajput- Mughal style architectures. The culture and tradition of Rajasthan is very unique and vast, which reflects, every corner of the state.

We are pleased to offer you the package of ‘The Castle Tour of Rajasthan’ where you will experience the royalty of the Rajasthan.  Apart from Rajasthan you will also get an opportunity to explore the majestic Taj Mahal in Agra the It is described as the most extortionate monument ever built for love. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, The beauty of Taj Mahal not only brings joys in viewer’s eyes but also is a feast to senses. During this tour you will visit some of the royal cities of India like Bikaner, Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer. Along with Jaipur and Mandawa to get to feel the real soul of royal and vivid India. The duration of the tour is 16 nights and 17 days. Apart from these destinations you will also get the chance to visit the metropolitan yet one of the most impotent historical and multicultural city Delhi, which is also the capital of India, where you will cover the most of the major attractions of the place.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Delhi 
 
On your arrival in Delhi, meet our representative and get transferred to a hotel. An Historical, Cultural, political, Modern or traditional you can explain the city as any of them, like aged wine Delhi become more graceful, more valuable and more with every passing decade. That is the heart of this wonderful city. New Delhi is a capital of India.
 
Upon arrival, Check-in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure, or you can explore the popular markets of Delhi, where you can get the some authentic Indian handicraft items. Overnight at hotel.
 
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing
 
After breakfast, proceed for city tour, including Old Delhi as well as New Delhi. The sightseeing covers the main attactions of Delhi such as Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, The monument commemorates the Indian Solider was killed during the world for and Afghan war, the monument has names of the soldiers engraved on the walls of the monument who died in these wars,  Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Visit the towering Qutab Minar, Purana Quila, Humayun's Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial. In the evening enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Red Fort. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
 
Day 3: Delhi - Samode(By Road-38kms)
 
Today after breakfast, proceed to Samode. It is a small village in the suburbs of Jaipur, located at the distance of about 231 kilometers away from Delhi . Samode is known for the Samode palace, Samode Haveli and Samode Bagh, these are the heritage monuments and structures constructed by 'Maha Rawal' of the Amber and Jaipur. The palaces here exhibit the beautifully carved interiors and the marvelous frescoed walls. 
 
Upon arrival at Samode, check-in to you pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening you may explore the village life and get an amazing experience of Kamal Safari, seat on camel’s back and enjoy the local traditions and life. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 4: Samode - Mandawa(By Road-kms)
 
After breakfast drive straight to Mandawa. Mandawa is the major part of Shekhawati region, it is a small town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is located about 190 kilometre away from Jaipur. Mandawa is known for its havelies and forts.
Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in at the hotels. After freshen up, proceed for the city tour of Mandawa. Firstly visit to the splendid Mandawa Haveli. The intricately painted walls of this place and the detailed work will enthrall you to the fullest. After that visit some other popular havelis include the Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, and the Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli. After visiting the havelies, return back to the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 5 : Mandawa - Bikaner(By Road-194kms)
 
After breakfast, drive towards Bikaner. Bikaner is a most vibrant desert town with tremendous forts, utterly sculptured temples of red and yellow sand stones display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization. It is the most beautiful yet very quiet destination of Rajasthan.
 
Once you arrive in Bikaner, check into your hotel. After freshen up, proceed for sightseeing that will include Junagadh fort, which is popular for its gigantic structure and compositional plans, Junagarh fort is spread over a sprawling area that is bounded by 986 meters long wall and the Jain temples, it was built in 15th century and devoted to the 5th Tirthankara of the Jains, Shri Sumatinath Ji. It is made by the sandstone and white marble. It is another popular tourist attraction along with one of the holy place for Jains. After visit Junagarh fort and Jain temples, visit some other popular attractions such as Raj Ratan Bihari Temple, Rasik Shiromani Temple and the Karni Mata Temple. In the evening you may take a visit to Gajner Palace and the Camel breeding center. Enjoy comfortable night stay at the hotel.
 
Day 6 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer(By Road-330kms)
 
Today after early breakfast, begin your journey towards Jaisalmer, ‘The Golden city’, Jaisalmer is situated 575 kilometers west from Jaipur. Jaisalmer comes under word heritage site. It is one of the most romantic places in India and also exotic destination for Indian as well as foreign tourists. For centuries this little settlement near India. The yellow sandstone and yellow sands used in every architecture of the city which gives it a yellowish-golden tinge to the city and its surrounding area.
 
On reaching Jaisalmer, check-in at your pre booked hotel. The rest day is free at leisure. In the evening visit the Jaisalmer Fort- a dominant structure between the sand. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 7: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
 
Today after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer which include Patwaon ki Haveli and Nathmalji ki Haveli. These Jain temples are beautifully sculptured and were constructed between the 12th and 13th century and five interconnected palaces of your own. 
 
Post lunch proceed to visit some other attractions such as the Jain Temples, Bada Bagh, Government Museum, Floklore Museum and the Amar Sagar Lake.
In the evening enjoy camel ride and watch the beautiful sunset. Return to the hotel at late evening, Stay overnight in the hotel.
 
Day 8: Jaisalmer - Rohet(By Road-285kms)
 
Post breakfast, drive to Rohet from Jaisalmer. Rohet is a small establishment of Bishnoi community. The Jagir of Rohet come into being in the 17th century.
 
On arriving Rohet, check-in to the hotel. Relax for a while at your room. After lunch enjoy the jeep safari at Rohet Villages. A comfortable night stay at the hotel.
 
Day 9: Rohet - Kumbhalgarh(By Road-188kms)
 
Today after breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh is another popular tourist place in Rajasthan. It is located at Mewar region in Rajsamand District about 82 kilometre northwest of Udaipur. It comes under a World Heritage Site.It was built by Rana Kumbha in 15th century and expanded up to 19th century. Kumbhalgarh is also associated with Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar, it was his birthplace.
 
On arriving Kumbhalgarh, check-in at your pre booked hotel.  After relax for a while, then proceed to visit the major tourist hotspots like the Kumbhalgarh Fort, Ranakpur Jain Temples, Badal Mahal, Vedi Temple, Parshuram Temple and the Neelkanth Mahadeo Temple. In the evening enjoy the jeep safari at the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. The green span of the Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary divide the regions of Mewar and Marwar. The diverse topography of the sanctuary just adds to its charm. It is located about 2 kilometre from Kumbhalgarh fort. It spread over an area of 586 square kilometers on the foothill of Arawali.
 
The sanctuary is home to four horned antelopes, leopards, panthers and sloth bear. There is a birdlife and crocodile sanctuary at Thandi Beri Lake.
 Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 10: Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur(By Road-102kms)
 
Post breakfast, drive straight to Udaipur- which is also known as “City of Lakes”. The city has clean lakes dotted with isles, which are decorated with ancient forts and palaces. Check-in at the hotel, Rest day is free at leisure, you can walk around the nearby places and explore the vibrant culture of the town. Overnight stay at hotel. In the evening enjoy boat ride at the Pichola Lake. Also visit the Lake Palace, one of the finest examples of architectural and cultural marvel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
 
This morning, after you munch your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour to Udaipur.
Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes is a city rich in cultural heritage. The city showcases the imperial Rajput era and takes one back to the glorious past. This beautiful city is also referred to as “Venice of the East”. The place has a number of historical monuments, palaces and forts which are there in the remembrance to Maharana Udai Singh II who founded the city.
 
Begin with a visit to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. After visiting all these attractions, enjoy your day on the banks of the Lake Pichola which is known as the crown of the city. Later, return back to the hotel and stay overnight.
 
Day 12: Udaipur - Bijapur(By Road-1146kms)
 
Today after breakfast, dive to Bijapur. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Post lunch, proceed to visit the major tourist attractions such as the Gael Gumbaz, Ibrahim Rauza, Jumma Masjid, the Malik-e-Maiden and the Mehar Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.
 
Day 13: Bijapur - Pushkar(By Road-1302kms)
 
Post breakfast, drive straight to Pushkar. Pushkar is known as one of the ancient existing city of India. It is the town of Ajmer district which is located 14 kilometre away from Ajmer. It is also one of the most important pilgrim destination for Hindus. Pushkar is famous for Bramha Temple, Pushkar Lake and Pushkar Camel Fair.
 
Upon arrival, you take a dip in the Pushkar Lake, it is one of the important pilgrim for Hindus and taking a dip in this lake is said to cleanse the sins of individual. It is also claimed to have medicinal properties and is said to cure skin disease and enjoy the beauty of Rose Garden. 
Later, you check in to the hotel and stay overnight.
 
Day 14: Pushkar - Jaipur(By Road-145kms)
 
After early breakfast, proceed to Jaipur. It is one of the most popular tourist destination of India. Behind its pink crenelated walls, you will find the original old city that’s dates back to the 18th century.
 
After arriving, check into a city hotel. Later, leave for sightseeing covering the City Palace, The palace complex is located within the heart of Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732 AD, then proceed for Jantar Mantar Observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and the Local Bazaar. Return to hotel for staying overnight.
 
Day 15 : Jaipur Sightseeing
 
Today after breakfast, proceed to visit main attractions of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, The palace was designed for the royal women, so that they could see the festivals of the city without coming out of the palace. It was built of red and pink sandstone. You can get the best Rajasthani handcraft, clothing, souvenirs, jewelry etc nearby Hawa Mahal, do some sopping here.
 
Visit Jal Mahal, located at Man Sagar Lake, this fort was built in the 18th century and feels equally haunting and enchanting. Other spots to be visited are Amer Fort, About 11 kilometer north of the Jaipur city center Amber Fort Palace is located. It is the main attraction of Jaipur. Amber was the capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs for 700 years. 
After Jaipur sightseeing, return back to the hotel in the evening. Stay overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
 
Day 16: Jaipur - Agra(By Road-240kms)
 
Post breakfast, proceed to Agra. Upon reaching Agra, Agra is strategically located in the alluvial plains between the Yamuna and Ganga. Upon arrival in Agra, check in to the hotel. After rest for a while, proceed to the sightseeing tour of Agra covering places such as Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb and Taj Mahal. First visit The Taj Mahal, It is described as the most extortionate monument ever built for love. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan which was dedicated to his beautiful wife Arjumand Bano Begum popularly known as Mumtaz Mahal. It is the final resting place of the queen, splendidly created for her remembrance. The beauty of Taj Mahal not only brings joys in viewer’s eyes but also is a feast to senses.
 
Later, visit Agra Fort the Agra fort was built by Akbar between 1565 -1573. This fort is built alongside the banks of River Yamuna and stretches for a length of almost 2.5 km. The fort is made using splendid pieces of red sandstone and white marble and the inner area inlaid with various semi-precious stones,
 
After visiting the Agra fort, proceed for Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb,Nur Jahan the wife of Jahangir built a tomb for her father Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din, who died in 1622. The tomb was called as Imad-Ud-Daula. The tomb is built entirely of white marble. As its unique architectural style and structure, the tomb also called “Baby Taj”.

Day 17: Agra To Delhi(By Road-235kms)
